Pads are no issue, even for a biff like me. Front discs, from what I read, are easier than the rears.

Plenty of WD40 on the caliper bolts the night before. You need a decent jack, a DECENT 17mm (iirc) spanner, or sockert: try buying a socket with SIX sides inside, rather than 12, they are less likely to slip. You'll still probably need a breaker bar, I slip a length of steel tubing over the sliding tommy bar from the socket set, NOT the ratchet.

If doing the discs, DO clean disc to hub mating surface THOROUGHLY.

Lastly, buy decent discs and pads. Pays off in the end. www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk are VERY good.

^^^^^^ and an excellent source for Discs, i fitted a front set on mine last night....

Remember to pop of the brake fluid cap under the bonnet aswell, other wise retracting the pistons can prove almost impossible on times...
