Default What about winter grip?

So, just taken ownership of a GB270 and am living north of the border and out in the sticks.

What do you guys recommend for winter motoring in terms of wheel sizes and rubber?

I'm all ears to suggestions / pointers to deals etc.

Just buy a spare set of std. rims and then get some proper winter tyres, they get very expensive later in the year when demand soars.

IMHO.

As above get winter tyres for winter.

In Slovakia or Czech republic i've use Matador and Barum,Continental tyres,in worst scenario i've must use Snow Chains as well.

I can recommend Pirreli SottoZero Series II winter tyres. I ran them on my car last winter and the grip available was very impressive even in heavy snow on holiday in Wales.
