Default Brake problem at low speed?

Hello i bought a 2002 bugeye sti type uk prodive at the weekend very happy with it! Goes like stink.
Anyways brakes feel strong and sharp at speed but when you come to stop just as you stop the brake pedal moves up and it sounds like the abs kicking in? dong dong dong type noise hard to explain.
The car has a receipt for some 2 piece godspeed discs and also has had new grooved discs fitted to rear with blue stuff pads and braided brake lines.
Im going to get the front wheels off at weekend have a look but just wondered if you guys have heard of this?

Anybody??
It has blue stuff pads fitted too, could be down to pads not being hot enough? i think they are quite a hard race compound.

Hi
The bluestuff pads in my car work perfect and are quiet all the time , it sounds like you may have an abs fault , have a look with your wheels off and see if you notice anything wrong
Cheers Ian

If they were warped he would get shaking in the steering wheel , he is only saying there is a noise coming to a stop
