Default Newage STi - Wheel Torque Settings?

hi guys

anyone know what the torque setting is for newage STi road wheels? i have an old copy of autodata and that only seems to have 2002 wrx which says torque to 88.

Is this the same for an STi? also is the torque setting for wheels any different if you track the car?

Cheers

just to bump this up. i took my spacers off today and thought i'd torque the wheels up to 80nm however having torqued them up i noticed that the lug that my nut goes over you can see plenty of threads left where the nut can turn more?

i dont know what they were torqued to before i guess they were gunned on but no threads were visible on the nut at all. it was level with the lug i.e. flush.

is this normal/safe? it seemed the bolts didnt turn that much when i torqued them. i dont want them to come off lol note here that these are skinny nuts to fit my rota gras and not standard subaru nuts.

in the end i played it safe and torqued them to 90nm which wasnt much more lol is this ok? i dont think ive used the torque bar wrong so it should be fine.

anyone else experienced similar? should i be paranoid? im guessing they were just over tightened before..

Have you got closed head nuts with long studs. If so they may not be tightening on the wheel at all but the back of the nut and this would be very dangerous as wheel will be loose.

my nuts are open head and the studs are standard, i only had 5mm spacers on.

is the above still applicable?
