lol... Ok .. went well apart from starting a bit late and losing light so did the second brake with a headtorch! Brakes feel 10 times better now.. Didn't actually do the hoses.. They didn't look like they have been touched since new (1999) and really would like to have the exact tool you need to do it rather that risk rounding them off! Will give that a go soon though.. They will go on!
Looks strange now.. Gold Brembo's on the back and Red Subaru 4 pots on the front. I actually have bigger discs on the rear than the front now!

Must look weird, Brembo rears with stand 4 pot fronts.
I take it you are waiting for some fornt Brembo's.
You don't need a special tool for the brakline hoses, BUT a brakeline spanner will help loads, as it has more sides, so grips better. I think, Subaru ones are 10mm, but check first.

I take it you are waiting for some fornt Brembo's.
You don't need a special tool for the brakline hoses, BUT a brakeline spanner will help loads, as it has more sides, so grips better. I think, Subaru ones are 10mm, but check first.

Brakeline spanner is exactly what I need. Better to be safe than to round the head off and be completely stuck.

Least you can reverse really fast without worrying about stopping
