Falkens were good, but they stop making the good ones (Can't remember the exact ones), and now the other Falkens they are still making aren't as good and are poor in wet conditions.
I quite enjoy the Yokohama's, then there's Uniroyal Rainsport 2 which are good tyres. If your after good budgets then Federals are good and alot of people are supprised how well they handle and how cheap you can pick them up for but made up from a Hard Compound which isn't great for Snow Driving

Falken 452s have always been great for me, although for similar money I've heard lots of good things about Vredstein Sessantas if you can get hold of them

F1's
Regarding the F1 asymetrics i had 4 fitted when they first come out and have been impressed with the wet weather grip but 3+ years down the line have had to replace them due to cracks appearing between the tread blocks not because they are worn out.The replacements are Michelin Pilot 3's hopefully these will perform gripwise just as good.

Bridgestone RE70 vs F1 Assymetric vs Sessanta?
We need a side by side test as these are often the ones that crop up as being the best. With Sessantas saving around £80 a set they would be my choice.
