Anybody fitted 18s to a my96 sport will 225/40/18, be ok or 215/40/18, or 215/35/18, help im confused.I will be fitting H&R springs with 50mm drop (manufacturer says 1.8" drop front and 1.5" drop rear must be american)any help anybody

I asked about this awhile ago, for 16" wheels, and got an answer back that 225s will not fit under the wheel arches. Standard tyre widths appear to be 215, but I am of the view that this is only good up to a 7" wheel width, otherwise the sidewall is compromised.

Sorry cannot directly answer your question, though!

thanks lads for the input i'm still confused is it the height or the width because 35 would be disastereous around my neck of the woods (potholes etc)
