Default Classic Tyre Sizes

Does anyone own a classic who is running 225/40/18 tyres? Do they catch at all?

I know the choice is 215/35 but I've got coilovers on the car and would like to try and retain a little comfort as I've heard 35 profile can be a bit harsh.

Cheers all!

Ben

225 is too wide and you will probably get rubbing, 215 is as wide as you want to go in reallity, and you will need to run 35 profile tyres too, ie sizes for 17's are 205/45/17 or 215/40/17 so 18's will be 215/35/18.
