Default Good Locking Nuts for Rota GRA's?

Hello,

I finally got round to getting a set of GRA's but the nuts & locking nuts that came with them, while fine, do not look great, so does anyone know who I can try for good quality nuts (maybe anodised alloy ones) and McGuards or similar to fit these wheels.

I have had a quick look on the McGuard website, but there is too many options on part numbers.

Thanks
Ian

Thanks for the info, they look really nice, with a nice price, But I suppose that is what quality costs, I think I will have to wait until I am paid again....
Thanks again

I have tuner nuts on mine as the rota shafts are very narrow. The likelihood of someone coming tooled to steal wheels with the tuner nut size isn't high. You can get lockers in tuner too.

Hi

We can supply the McGard locking nuts to fit the Rota wheels, we can do them in either the normal silver finish or in gloss black. We have these in stock ready to go at £39.99 a set of 4.
If you were after a full set of nuts we sell the Kei Racing spline locking nuts in packs of 20. These are gloss black again or special order in red, these are £39.99 for the set of 20.
We will always do a bit of Scoobynet discount too!

Hi Keith,
I actually bought the alloys off yourselves last year! If you remember I had an issue with one wheel and I have to say I was more than impressed with the service I was given, you guys were very helpful over the fone

I'm tempted to go for the Kei racing ones but I'm not sure how they would look in black against the gold rims You don't keep them in silver at all?

My black Kei nuts are starting to corrode after only about 3 months on the car. Will be removing them permanently this weekend when I get new tyres fitted.

Hi Ryan

I do remember, you have the Type R which you sent me pics of with the wheels fitted. You had an issue with one of the wheels and we sorted you out a replacement.
We do sell the Kei nuts in silver, just don't keep them in stock as the black ones are the most popular. They will only take a couple of days to get them to you. I personally think the black ones look better on Gold wheels.
As mentioned by 53WRX we also do the anodised Ultralite nuts in black, red and blue.

We have sold hundreds of sets of the Kei nuts and never heard of any problems with them corroding to be honest. We have had a set on our demo STi for almost two years now and the wheels are on and off it what seems like every other day and it is used every day and they are still fine. They are better quality nuts than the ones supplied with wheels in the first place.

Thanks

Keith

Hi Keith,

Thanks for the info
I will have to give you a call and get a set of the Kei black nuts, do you also list centre cap stickers, so I can sort it all out in one hit? I am not overly keen on the Rota logo.

Thanks
Ian

Hi Ian

Not a problem, just give me a call and I will sort some nuts out for you.
We sell centre cap stickers in sets of 4 with the 'STi' or 'Prodrive' logo on.

Thanks

Keith

Hi 53WRX, that looks perfect, I have red Calipers, so I dont think I will get away with the Red Anodised nuts, but they look great with the Gold Brembo's. My GRA's are Steel Grey, so I think Black nuts and the STI centre cap stickers will do the trick
