Post What wheel spacers?

Does anyone know which size spacers i need on my 1998 uk classic to fit one of Ian Godwins AP 4pot kits??

Ian has looked at my wheels (17") and told me i need a bit more clearance like the rb5 wheels

Thanks

Buy the Prodrive Alcons, that way you dont need different wheels or spacers which are crap and a bodge.................

Factory fit, what more can you say?

Better than a "home brew" AP set up IMHO.

Now a Genuine AP kit will be better because all the parts will be hard anodised and the discs will be 2 piece.

Perhaps you should look up his needs before commenting , if you were as knowledgable as you think you are , you would realise that the early wheels he has will not fit any 4 pot brake kit under them , not even the standard subaru 4 pot calipers will fit under them , if he wants to keep his wheels he WILL need wheel sopacers.
If he fits hub centric spacers they will cause no problems whatsoever.

Joe , as per our phone calls and PM's , no kits will fit under your wheels unfortunately without wheel spacers

Cheers Ian

Sorry I read it as if he had RB5 wheels.

Yes for sure i'll need some spacers im just on the look for some now

Ian any idea exactly what size i require?

Also can you remind me if the rear kit we spoke about includes the whole shooting match (discs, pads calipers all ready to fit etc) for the price you quoted me? the set up you have suggested to me definately fits my needs so im just trying to get the final details, then should be good for the go ahead
