Sorry if this question has been asked before but will a set of 16" impreza alloys fit my 2005 WRX which has 17" as standard?

the reason behind this is i am intending to get a spare set to put winter tyres on and have had a set of 16" offered to me.

Also thinking it will be a bit cheaper for the winter tyres in 16"

they should fit no probs might look a bit strange cuz they smaller wheels

Thanks, not that bothered about the looks if the price is right as i will only be using them in the bad weather and with winter/snow type tyres.
