do i need to watch my tyre wear?
Hi there,
I have just got myself a 2001 wrx and will be needing some tyres in the near future, am i right in thinking that i need to keep all my tyres within a certain tolerance to stop any problems with the diffs. or am i talking bo***cks.
Regards Carl.

hi carlos,id be interested in replies too as ive got four tyres in the shed ready to fit but my cars front tyres are still good.
Question is do i fit the rears now ready for mot or all at once.im not sure wether the new tyres tread will upset the drivetrain with the slightly differant circumferance to that of the fronts.will this slight differance create probs??

Ideally you would change all four at once, but if you put new tyres on the front they will wear more quickly than the rears.... unless you have DCCD !
IMHO you are unlikely to notice, and the centre diff has to allow some differential action on every corner you take.
