Bleeding Brembo's- quick question
Having a minor disagreement around the bleeding process for Brembo's!
On each caliper, there are two bleed nipples. I have always done the outside nipple primarily, but was going to try and bleed both at the same time (have 2 bleeding kits).
Would you:
- Just bleed the outside one
- Bleed both nipples at the same time
- Bleed the outside one, and then the inside one?
All views appreciated!
Cheers

When I fit them , I bleed the inside nipple first , lock it up then do the outside , do the same the other side of the car , pump the pedal a few times to get the pistons out , then repeat it , it should be right then
The first time I pump the pedal 8-10 times per nipple , on the second bleed , 5 pumps per nipple , I find this will get rid of any air in the system
Cheers Ian

Ian- thats brilliant and many thanks.
Im still using the discs I got off of you- on a track day at Le Mans I was one of the few who didnt end up with warped discs! I was using your grooved 330mm discs.

Well my neighbours have had a good laugh at me bleeding brakes in the snow (and re-assembing my IC pipework), and followed Ian's advice, and all is well. Car stops better than before (managed to find some dry road).
Now I can focus on playing in the snow again

Yes mate- you start with the one furthest away, and then get closer. Using Ian's guide above, you should start with the rear passenger, then rear driver, then repeat.
Then do front pasenger, then front driver and repeat.
A self bleeding kit is a saviour, and make sure you keep an eye on flud levels in the reservoir after each 5 pedal pumps- fronts really go through fluid.

Think they are all the same mate- a piece of tubing blovked off at the end, with a small slit in the pipe- just go to your local motor factors- was less than a tenner, and maybe even less than a fiver- can remember
