Unhappy

I thought that your Pads were supposed to wear and not your discs..

I fitted 4 pots to my 95 WRX along with 294mm Tarox 44 groove discs, the Pads are Mintex 1155's and just this weekend I was servicing the brakes. I noticed that on the front both the discs seem to be worn down on the insides, looking from the top you can notice the difference. The pad wear is minimal and the discs seem to be wearing instead, can anyone recommend any other pads to use with this setup. I was considering EBC Green Stuff pads instead of the mintex.

Cheers in advance

O.M.

Mintex pads eat discs!!

I have used them with my Black Diamonds and also surprised at the noticable wear on the discs whilst the pads are hardly worn after 5000miles!

Different pads next time for me, they squeal like hell and still do!
