it looks like the marks for drilled discs as they appear to be pretty symmetrical rather than hot spots all over the place.I'd say there is nothing to worry about (although id question the choice of EBC to begin with)

Rapid cooling of the surface from hot causes this, disc gets hot, surface cools and contracts over hot inner material and surface cracks, of itself its not an issue and its not uncommon on discs (Mine have been like that for 2 years), the problem can however (OCCASIONALY ONLY) lead to full depth cracks so you need to keep an eye on it.

Didn't have much choice as to which discs I went for when these went on, but I wont be getting EBC again (pads were Mintex 1144's).
Discs & pads were new 9K miles ago
I think, as winter's coming (slower speeds) and the cracks seem quite superficial I'll keep them and keep an eye on them. If the cracks open up anymore I'll swap them out

Have a search for the Pagid website where is describes this sort of surface cracking. IIRC it says that this cracking is OK as long as the cracks to not reach the edge of the discs. It also says that this sort of cracking is common in motorsport applications.

Well here you go...
From the pagid website:
Heat Cracks in Racing Brake Pads and Discs
Multiple small heat cracks (hairline cracks) are normal and accepted for this type of use. Heat cracks on brake discs must not reach to the outer or inner edge of the disc.
