Default brake fade problem

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help, I keep experiencing a kind of brake fade, the pedal stays firm, but its just not stopping? cars fine for abit, until u give it some, and have a few i wouldnt say particularly hard braking times, then the pedal just feels quite hard but the brakes dont seem to work?

i never had a problem when i was on standard disc's an pads, since they wore out i fitted drilled and grooved discs, and new pads, and i started getting this fade, so i then fitted a set of black diamond predator pads, and still the same?

Could there be something wrong with the discs? poor compound or something? ive tested the brake fluid and its still at dot 5.1 spec, bled the brakes an so on?

Default discs

Could that cause it? i thought maybe pads, thats why i changed them again but its the same, would u say discs could cause it? theyve hardly worn at all, they were about £150 for the fronts, what make would people suggest?

I've not used those pads so won't comment, but ask on here for peoples advice.

I use Performance Friction discs and pads, worth every penny, if not cheap.

I also used Ferodo DS 2500, not quite as good, and by no means cheap

You did remove the layer of oil off the discs before you put them on right?

Did you bed the pads in as per the proper procedure?

Your pistons all working properly in the caliper?

It definitely sounds like your pads.Whatever material they are it seems like you are getting them above the temps they are designed for.
Your discs could only be blamed if they cracked or warped etc, which sounds like they have not.
What you have is simply fade.
If you get a better pad you should be ok.

How hot are you getting the brakes before they fade?
