Default 5 x 100 > 5 x 114

Can it work? is it possible to fit newage alloys to a classic and am i right thinking the stud lengths longer? or is it the space between each bolt? i duno

wouldnt mind some rota grid drifts but they only come in 114 x 5 and ET 20/30?

would i need to change hubs?

New hubs, they are completely different sized patterns!

We just changed the stud pattern on a bugeye (5x100) to the 5x114.3 and we had to change the hubs, front drive shafts and amend the front struts. Quite a big job to do really.

Well worth doing if your planning on tracking the car as the 5x114.3 hubs are much stronger than the 5x100.

hmmm this was a winter project of mine, what do you need to do to the struts for it to work?

The mounting point where the strut bolts onto the knuckle/hub is wider on the 5x114.3's than the earlier newage models.

I saw a thread on PassionFord where a guy had his hubs on a project Granada converted to two different PCD's, not sure which.
The hubs looked very basic though and had no ABS. I doubt its possible on a Scooby, but someone might know for sure.

just noticed you've got a classic - they are 18x8.5" which i think is too wide for classics. sorry to get your hopes up
