Pagid are they rubbish?
#1
I booked my MY96 UK Turbo in to the Dealer on Saturday, for a strange scrapping scratching noise coming from the off side rear wheel, while driving.
Gave them the car for a hour and returned to a bill of £115. Turns out that the backing plates on the pads had corroded and came away from the pads causing the noise, hence the need for new pads.
Anyone else had this type of thing happen with Pagid or any other pad?.
Cheers.
Ian.

so long as you like sounding like a black cab!!!
I put padgid blues in my ap 4 pots and although the braking performance was good, braking under 30 would result in squealing of victoria station taxi rank proportions.
bloody orrible.
only way to stop it was to really stamp on em, not good in traffic tho.
have returned to ap pads, hardly any diff in performance and no squealing - tho saying that they are doing a little but at v. low speed but nowhere near as bad as above.
