Braided brake pipes from Brembo kit rubbing
#1
I've had a weird scraping noise coming from the car for sometime, today I finally found out what it is. It is the braided pipes rubbing on the inner part of the car body.
This is on the brembo brake kit fitted by Scoobysport.
I have a picture here:
You can see where it has rubbed down to the metal. This is on the nearside, the drivers side looks fine.
So the question is can I fix it quickly myself or do I need to get it to a garage?

I had the same happen. Mine was rubbing against the suspension leg and eventually went all the way through and went pop (on a track day approaching a 90 degree right at 100+mph!. Luckily being an airfield I went straight on up a slip road.) Talk to Pete at Scoobysport, he suggested (and I think he now supplies) the plastic curly pipe wrap they use on bike braided lines. He also replaced the braided hose FOC. What a nice chap.
