Default Help with ap 4 pots

Spent whole day trying to fit these .... When whole set up Is on there seems to be a GAP between the mounting holes on hubs and brackets so tried to fill them with washers to fill the space but to no avail as soon as the wheel goes back on it pushes the disc hard against the caliper so wheel does not turn. Anyone seen this problem???

yes various kits include spacers to get the discs sitting perfectly central in the caliper , what you need to do then is fit 3 wheel nuts on to hold the disc tight against the hub , then fit the calipers and brackets with whatever spacers they need ,

So where did your original bracket come from?

Ian, do you supply fitting kits/adapters for 4pot Ap's such as the 5200's?

Ive yet to attempt fitting mine as im still painting them. Awaiting final clearcoat when i get the time and some oven treatment.

I got them from graham goode but as i tried to fit them there was a gap just under 5mm
contacted ian and he say's some kits need spacers and some don't ...my plan is to send a complete side to ian so that he can figure it out or supply new brackets to suit

no way that any kit should need a 5mm spacer???

is the kit specifically for your car??

common to need "shimming" to suit, but this shold be around 0.1mm or so.........
