Help! Alloy Upgrade 52plate WRX
I have a WRX 52plate Bugeye... I want to buy Wheels & Tyres, but its a must that the wheels & Tyres fit flush to the side panels wings etc. Am I correct in saying that I am good with 18" 8J 225x40, can I go 8.5J or is this to much? Also can anyone advise me if my vehicle if defo 100 Stud Diameter or 114? THKS IN ADVANCE...

The PCD of 100 is not stud diameter, it's the distance from the center of the wheel or between the stud holes (can't remember which). You could use a tape measure and check if its 100mm or 114mm spaces? I'm pretty sure yours are PCD 100 though, only STi from 2005 onwards and MY2007 cars have 114.

A bug wrx will be PCD 5x100.
You will be able to fit 18x8.5 wheels for a more flush fit (i did on my blob wrx) - but clearance depends on the wheel offset (ET44 on mine, the higher the better on Imprezas 48-52 is usually best), your tyre choice (225x40x18 was safe for me), how big your brakes are and how much the car is lowered...good luck!
