I think your right mate - Don't know the exact profile used do you ?? It's for a mate at work who has just bought a mint P1 with after market rims. He want the car back to complete originality for concourse.
He's not online so roped me in... I have told him it's 2009..
Luke.

The tires we well past their best at 18,000 miles so I decided to replace them before the next service and look around at something different. Toyo Proxes T1-S were getting good reviews from members of IWOC, as were Bridgestone SO3 (but not as popular as SO2) and Goodyear Eagle F1. I could get a pretty good price on the Toyos so I went with them. The Pirellis are a pretty unique size in 205/45x17 with most manufacturers choosing 215/40x17 which for all intensive purposes is compatible size on the Impreza.

And they are 5hite in the wet... to the extent that I kept my original set for having fun with in the wet on track days. I remember a wet day at brands Indy- I put them on after lunch, after a morning of belting round on the late lamented S02 PPs, and then took a tvr driving mate out for a bit of sideways fun. After exiting Paddock very sideways (a fair bit more sideways than i'd planned tbh) my mate screamed and grabbed the door handle and seat and said " I thought these bloody things were 4 wd..." .
They are good in hot dry conditions, but hopeless in the wet.
