the caliper brkts should be threaded normally, is it not a genuine kit???

if not then i suggest you use the max size of bolt that is a neat fit in the brkt.........

I have an AP 5570 kit on my 03STi fitted about 2006 and the bracket to upright fixing is Allen bolts and nuts. No thread in bracket and I'm sure it was a genuine kit. I've fitted a later kit (2009) to a mates car and this had a threaded (and different appearance) bracket so it seems you can get both sorts. Can't find bolt size but recommended torque for Allen bolt and nut is 50 ft-lb so I suspect it is an M10 bolt, best to find high tensile ones.

the hole in the hub is 12mm , if you fit a 10mm bolt the bracket will move , all the kits we do have 12mm bolts , and I thread all of our alloy brackets , except for our 335mm kit with subaru 4 pots as these have a 14mm bolt to hold the bracket onto the hub
