Bit of a story and left with not necessarily an ideal situation, anyway, had a service at a main dealer last October, they replaced front pads (without asking me prior - as I'd have said no and put in some DS2500 etc..), so just had another service local Subaru specialist (Newbury), they said I need new front discs, surprised the main dealer didn't do these at the same time, (the car has only done 3000miles between the services and no track days).

Question: what new discs should I get ? (£100 max really) and should I change the pads again ? (most places say yes, but they are nearly new and cost £130 !!!!), the car doesn't do many miles per year (about 6000), doesn't go the track, but does get driven spiritedly on the road (but not all the time).

Is e-bay an option? always a bit wary about buying things like this from there, although prices for what portray to be genuine seem very good (EBC Ultimates?).

Lots of permutations I'm sure, but just some helpful advice would be much appreciated, oh, and I'm intending to fit myself (have done before on other cars).
