Default Any probs fitting 2002 STI 7 Gold Brembos to a classic?

I know this has prob been asked before but:
Will the STI bug/blobeye Gold Brembos (front) fit straight on a classic? (MY99 UK)
I know there may be a problem sourcing a 17 inch wheel to fit. I already have a set of 7 spoke 17 inch Speedline/Prodrive alloys, will these clear the calipers?

Any Help greatfully received

Cheers John

They bolt straight on.

It depends on which wheel you have.

I recommend changing the matser cylinder too. It greatly increases feel and firms the pedal up.
You dont need to do it as they work fine without i run this way for over a year but its night and day better with the sti 7 m/cylinder.

brake hoses are the same.
With he wheels it is a difficult one. The STi wheels are ET53.

Thats not necessarily a fool proof way to tell. It is also down to the design of the spokes. I have tried wheels with the correct fitment, and they seem to clear the calipers in places, but where the spokes are curved inside, they hit them in places.
I don't know the wheels you are talking about, but if they are et53 and the spokes inside are flat, then you may be OK.

hi, with regards hoses, when you look on the websites they list the hoses for brembo equipped braked as separate hoses.

I bought goodridge hoses for my Subaru four pots. I never got round to fitting them until I got the Brembo's, and they went straight on. Not got brembo's on there rear, so maybe thats the issue.

Its all to do with spoke design, not offset.

I run et 48 Speedline Tarmac wheels and the clearence is huge, same for my spare set too (some jap type design)

It all bolts straight on even the hoses

It that true? I am using a set of Prodrive P-WRC1 18x7.5 offset+53 if is can clear the bigger brembo caliper I would go for it! Any idea?
