If your not too worried about price i'd go for Performance Friction at around £450(i think there around that), if thats a bit steep try Ian Godney he'll do you a good price on some grooved discs £200-£250 a pair. I've got brembo made discs from scoobyworld at £250.

I ran PF Discs and pads, performed very well on track but were goosed within 10,000 miles as the pads fell in pieces!
The OEM discs lasted me 30,000 miles.
I am now trying the Godney 2 piece discs with DS2500 pads and after bedding in all seems good so far. Time will tell on usage but they get a thumbs up so far.

Hi
The one piece discs at £155 a pair , are the same as a standard disc but it is grooved , the 2 piece discs have alluminium centre's that are bolted in place , these are lighter than a standard disc , will dissapate heat quicker , and are much harder to warp if you are a hard driver or do track days.
this is a pic of the 2 piece ones
Cheers Ian

If you had a selection of brake discs in front of you in would be very apparent.
There are budget OE machined (grooved) discs and there are purpose designed discs. They cannot be directly compared. Each has it's place in the market, so I'm not knocking them.
They are in different price brackets due to the nature of the discs. Looking at high end discs specifically (AP, PF), AP do seem to have some cracking issues in some cases.
PF discs really are very impressive - true 2 piece floating designed patented discs.
Take a look at the PF website for further info:
