Superleggera and Ultraleggera are OZ's lightweight wheels. 'Leggera' means 'light' in Italian ! When I enquired how light they were just after they were launched the guy at Motorsport wheels handed me a normal wheel, then an OZ box. I had to open the box to verify there was a wheel inside. I promptly bought them and they really improved the handling on my old VW Corrado. To make sure it wasn't placebo I got the missuse to drive it and didn't inform her what differences there might be and she immediately said it handled much better. I always advocate light wheels now.

Do some research though, there may be lighter. Anything flow-formed should be lightweight, such as Prodrive's PFF7's. Not sure on the exact weights of each wheel.

most wheels made by rays are pretty light but only crop up once in a blue moon second hand. they are also very expensive BUT if you want light weight wheels they take some beating

One word of caution, beware of copies of lightweight wheels which have been manufactured using traditional 'gravity forming'. Flow-forming sees the alloy having a stronger molecular structure, meaning they can use less alloy to get the same strength. Less alloy = less weight. The copies are usually casting molds off of flow-formed wheels, but made with the weaker gravity-forming. The have less alloy and so less weight, but with the weaker molecular structure from GF manufacturing they may be more prone to buckling or fracture.
