215/35 will be stretched on an 8" rim but will fit

You may get away with 225/35/18 without rubbing.

I have Compomotive MO, 8 X 18 wheels on my 93 WRX.
I have 225/40/18 tyres on them.
The only problem I had was, they were too wide for the standard suspension.
So I had to get a set of coilover suspenders put on.
There was a bit of rubbing on the rear arches at first, until I had adjusted the suspension properly.
They'll easily fit over your Brembo's. My standard brakes looked tiny under those wheels, so I bought a set of AP 6 pots and 355mm disks. They fit under the wheels no problem.
