If you can handle the harsh ride, tram-lining and poor wet performance get Bridgestone RE070's for simply astounding dry grip.

Failing that, look at Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta for a brilliant all-round tire. Superb dry, superb wet, wear well, look great. The normal Ultrac are very good too.

Goodyear F1 Asymmetric are also extremely good.

Middle of the road for money saving look at Toyo Proxes T1R.

from reading these type of posts before I can gurantee most tyre manufactures will get the nod.

For my penny's worth it's michelin PS3s. Great in the wet, great in the dry, great on how long they last, great on track.....but I'm a slow git so don't push them that much on track But they are not cheap

confused yet?

PS2s I assume. Very good on road.
OK on track as long as they don't get too hot, in which case they fall to pieces!

100% agree. I'm on Sessanta Ultracs for day to day use .. RE070s for track

.. and have had T1Rs' .. but not a spot on the Sessantas

.. and yes . have heard F1 Asymetrics very good

Evo Mag did a survey of performance tryes about a year ago ... technically the Goodyear was the best tyre .. with the Sessantas 2nd ... but they were also the subjective drivers choice
