it's a bit missleading, and confusing, it says the tyre cost is £57 and then when you add to cart it changes to £50 but adds £8.22 carriage and £8.76 15%vat still is only £67.19 total

i was thinking about the eagle f1 , but they are a soft compound, i'v no doubt they would be great tyres but i think the toyo will be a good tyre and should last longer, i have asked if anyone knows if there is a noticable differance in tyre wear but havn't had any replies yet.

the eagle f1 (cant remember the letters and numbers, but the non asymetrical one) is around £78 on mytyres, strange they are cheaper than the toyo there.they are £72 at tyretraders but you only pay £8 delivery it doesnt matter how many tyres you buy

4 Goodyear EAGLE F1 Asymmetric 235/40 R18 95Y XL work out £56 pounds cheaper than mytyres (comparison includes VAT and delivery).

stigaz, my F1 GSD3 lasted longer than the Toyo T1S I had. The Toyo may be a very slightly harder compound but due to the F1s slipping less they wear less, so actually last longer. The F1 Asymmetrics I have on now are also doing very well, and have nicely even wear across the tread on both front and rear tyres. The lateral grip advantage of the GSD3 over the T1 is very noticeable and they're much better in the wet.

nxg ,thats much appreciated mate, i think i might be getting eagle f1's

not many people buy just one tyre , but mytyres add £5 if you do, the goodyear eagle f1 gs-d3 (non asymetric) is actually £76.80 each unless you buy 1 then it is £81.80

tyretraders is 64.50 each plus £8 delivery no matter how many

You'll love 'em. Even my wife noticed the difference, and she thought tyres were just tyres and couldn't possibly make any performance difference until I fitted GSD3s to her WRX wagon. She's still on her first set... bless...

Also try Event Tyres - Mobile Tyre Fitting for Car, 4x4 and Run Flat Tyres.

Their prices are all inclusive including fitting by appointment at your home or your place of work and they are highly thought of on other sites.
