EBC Brake Pads for 4 pots...?
Hi Guys, I have a track day coming up on the 2nd of Dec. and I want to get better brake pads to try keep up with my boss's Audi RS4
Has anyone tried any of the EBC's? I thought about Red Stuff, but my local dealer recommended that I use the Yellow Stuff...
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks

EBC are complete garbage don't touch them with a bargepole i had yellow's they were awfull from cold crap when warm and i managed to overheat them on the road.
Go with Ferodo Pagid or if the bidget allows Performance Friction

PF all the way. I spec'd them for an endurance car recently which managed 1800 race KM's per set of PF01's! Essentialy only a single pad change was required in a 24 hour race.

Thanks, really appreciate the replies . Not quite what I expected, but the exact reason I posted the question.
I'll look both Ferodo & Performance Friction up to see which I can get, as I'm not sure these are readily available in new Zealand.
Thanks again.

to be fair, the redstuff is supposed to be nothing more than a road going pad for subarus.. the yellowstuff is their "track" pad but even tho it may not be up to every1's standards they are cheaper than mintex and pfs
i had greenstuff (rated for upto 200bhp cars) on my bmw 328i sport and they were fine, i have redstuff on my 284bhp classic and they are rubbish... what can i say

If you want some serious brakes for track days, you need to get some serious kit. There aren't any shortcuts on this one..

i have yellow stuff atm in my brembos...
Not impressed. lots of noise from the pads and tend to fade. 1st time on pedal very gud, but fade straight away after that. can be scary at high speeds.
performance friction are already ordered and will be on asap
