Default Seized Brake Piston

Just been changing the disks and pads, found I have a seized piston front driver side. So far tried G clamp, no luck, then clamped the other 3 pots and tried to push it out on the brakes, still no joy. Any ideas? Would heating it work?

Did you start the car? Get the servo involved that should work

I had exactly the same problem, it was a pain in the butt, after prety much rounding the lip and trying with 2 srewdrivers with plenty of weight on both sides i gave up and used the car!!

gclamp all other pistons, put it on the car, bleed it, then just use your foot to pump it out worked a treat for me!

Leave the caliper on the hub, put a pad in the good side as normal, then on the sticky side use the other pad to hold back the good piston, now start the engine and push the pedal through the floor, if this doesnt work

If you have only 1 sticky piston , remove the pad from that side , put the pad in sideways so itwill be clamped by the good piston , and pump the pedal gently , the sticky piston will come out , you may need to press hard on the pedal cepending how badly its seized , when its out , pull the dust seal back and check the condition of the piston , if its corroded and pitted it needs to be changed , clean it up with WD40 and a cloth to see. If you need any parts I can supply you stainless steel pistons that will not rust , and seal kits
