Dayton tyres?

Dayton tyres?
I've been using these on the wife's Xantia front wheels for a while. When I went in to get four more, (fronts worn, rear Goodyears gone oval ), I saw that Dayton now make a new tyre for sporty cars, the D300.
Cost of four for the Scoob in 215/40 17" would be £330, so almost the same as Toyos to the few pence.
Why Daytons? Because they are made by Bridgestone, and when you buy, you get a lifeetime guarantee, so that if you get damage to one, you get either a free tyre, or a percentage of it's cost back on buying another. The amount you get back depends on the wear:
8mm left, 100%
7mm, 85%,
6mm, 70%,
5mm, 60%
4mm, 25%,
3mm and below, nil.
If they are as good as the D210 which are on the Xantia, they will be very good. The tyres on the front of that, (and it's a diesel), have run 27000 miles before changing, and gave good grip up to reaching the wear bars, when they would spin out on wet raods if you accelerated too hard from standstill.
