Default New Wheel Size

Hi all
New forum member and scooby owner here looking for some advice!!
Got a black 05 wrx and was thinking of changing the standard wheels to a set of 17" OZ RACING ULTRALEGGERA F1's.
Know the PCD of 5x100 is OK but not sure if the 48et of these wheels is? Gather the standard wheel's are 55et, so will these be ok for my car?
Also just got new set of Falken FK452 tyres(215,45,17's), so would I be better with the 17 x 8's or 17 x 7.5's.
Thanks

215/45/17 is usually fitted to a 7" rim so 7.5" would be ok
A wider tyre would be ideal on an 8" rim in my honest opinion.

P.S. My 8" rims are ET 44 if that helps ( to clear the Brembos )
