GY F1 ASYM's premature wear
I bought a set of these mid Nov last year and whilst cleaning the car the other day i noticed the rears are really worn right on the wear indicators yet the fronts have 2mm till the wear indicators maybe more
The wear is really even across both rear tyres, the only thing that may have affected was i had a small spin 2 months ago which result in a new Wheel/wheel bearing/ I think but couldn't be sure they did the tracking as well (Subaru dealer)
The car drives perfectly no pulling/vibrations everything seems ok
I would put the mileage at 7k on this set
Any thoughts ?

Interesting, had mine on about 1mth now and ~1k.
I would imagine your one of the first to use, so new ground. Will be interested in hearing others findings..
FWIW, I doubt having one rear wheel bearing would effect both sides..!

I know its odd, normally the fronts go first and the rears aren't to far behind but the rears have gone completely and the front probably have a good few k in them

I've got 13,000 miles on my set of F1 Asy. now and there's still masses of tread of them, very impressed. Rotated front to rear at 10,000 miles but apart from some scrubbing on the outside edges (but no where near as much as the original F1) theres little to show.
Get the tracking checked

You are a leaden footed hooligan ?
Sorry, I was joking.
7000 miles is only a bit less than my Toyo's are lasting...
DunxC
P.S. I need the geometry setting as mine is chewing inner and outer edges

I reckon its took 2k miles to kill the rears after my spin, found out why
This was they best they could get it to whilst they couldn't see anything wrong something maybe be bent a mil or 2
Drives so much better now

Glad you seem to have found the problem.
The toe all around and F/R camber was sooooo out.. No wonder it drives better now..!
How many people are driving around with crap geom , thinking it should be spot on from the factory..
Seriously, anyone who owns a scoob (even if it's new) and not had the geometry checked, do yourself a favour and GET IT DONE..!
