Default which brake pads

im after changing my brakes pads on my00 uk turbo

which would you recommend, i do occasional track days

you don't mention age / model of car but something like Pagid "blues" would fit the bill.............

ferrodo ds2500's are a good pad for road and the odd track use..

Looks like you've 4 pots from the pictures, as stockcar said try Pagid RS4-2 blue.

Another vote for Pagid Blues from Alyn at ASPerformance. I prefer the extra bite they have over DS2500 for track use. Might give standard discs a hard time so talk to Alyn for advice, he'll know whats best.

you are correct they are the standard 4 pots

what are pagid like on the road when cold?

Never used the 4.2 blues but have used the 4.2-1 blacks which are very good from cold, I think the blues are also the same but also will put up with a bit more then the blacks on a track

Give Alyn a ring and he'll sort you out with good info and supply the pads at a good price, very quick delivery as well

Agree with all of above. However, when I went to Alyn he advised the Pagid blacks were best for road use, the blues for the track.

You losing nothing in terms of cold start performance over the OE pads, they're simply better all round !

having suffered brake fade due to my tendancy to follow bikes on b roades lol
(at the national speed limit i may add officer)

i got some advice and bought some Pagid "blues" no fade what so ever
the harder you brake the faster you stop " thats what im talking about " cheers alyn .
