Question Whats up with my discs?

I’ve had my car now for since the beginning of summer and when I got it the discs were really corroded, due to little sue and lots of summer rain. Now I thought it would wear off, but it seems to still be there, much better than it was but you can see it clearly. The odd thing is that it seems to be the same level and not rough, even though it looks it.

Will new pads sort it out? or do I need new discs? The car's only done 20k.
Whats gone on here.....?

Looks normal to me: the shiny bit is the bit the pads bear down onto, as far as I can see?

the pads aren't making full contact with the surface hence the inconsistent appearance..........also from the first pic your pads look quite worn, might just be the angle??

need a proper inspection to be sure but new discs and pads probably, you could try stripping the pads and cleaning the calipers in the meantime and this may well help the issue.........
