Question prodrive brake upgrade

I need new brakes as my standard WRX brakes can't handle the PPP. Have had a good price(i think) for the prodrive set up and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts??? Like the idea of prodrive as car is still under warranty for two more years..

I also had the Prodrive brake kit fitted on my old 03 WRX wagon running PPP.
Found them pretty good but the rear pads needed upgrading to stop the back end moving aorund under heavy braking.
Bad point was the ABS triggering very easily on new tyres or very rough road surfaces.

You are better off changing the pads for EBC Yellow Stuff Pads for only a few hundred quid. As good as my STi brembos with standard pads ! View my scooby, was running more than the PPP and the brakes were spot of for fast road use. Other than that, a nice set of STi Front Brembo Kit can be had for £500 part used and frankly the rears don't need doing apart from pads.

Thanks,

Most of the time the brakes are fine on the road.. the real problem is when I am on the track.
Prodrive kit does include upgraded rear pads so that would help i think..
Might also get braided lines fitted at same time. Any ideas??

Thanks for your help

I feel like i am gonna lose the back end when i brake hard with me StopTechs. LOL.
Snake around is a good way of describing it tbh.

They were Terinex pads from Alyn at A S Performance and cost about £45.

Are you braking in a straight line when the back end snakes about, cause it shouldn't unless there is another force being placed on the car ie steering or accelerating.

I use oe pads on the rear and have had no problems and i go on track as well.
