Default 05 STi Forester Brembos on a V5 Impreza?

I have bought a set of front Brembos for my new arrival, a V5 Sti wagon. I have been told that the bolt spacings are different fitting than the Impreza ones. My question is, can the discs be re drilled to suit or am I just safer and better off getting a new set of discs.

Cheers

Alan

HI Alan

We can redrill your discs to suit your stud pattern , we charge £25 for this , but it would cost you as much again sending them to us then having them delivered back to you , or if your close to me you can bring them down and i'll do them while you wait

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the advice, only problem is I am in Dublin. I will get on to one of the local engineering shops and see if they can do it for me. Is there any problems I should look out for?

Cheers

no none , its straight forward , tell them to drill 5 new holes in the middle of the ones already there on a 5 x 100mm PCD

What size wheels will you be running on your wagon?

I thought there was an issue with new brembos fitting onto classics.

I will run whatever size wheels it takes to clear the brakes.I have seen loads of classics with this conversion done, can't see any problems myself. And if there was any issues I would think that Ian Godney would have heard about them!
