Yellow stuff opinions
I've been running Red stuff for a while. They've been ok, but chew up the discs badly. Are the Yellows the same on disc wear and what are they like from cold - better or worse than Red stuff?
Cheers

Great pads I thought, good from cold and excellent stopping from new.
If you do a search there are loads of threads to choose from.

Err no, but glad it made you giggle
To get the best out of the EBC Yellows it is best to replace front and rear together. I had mine supplied and fitted by Mocom Racing.
Mocom Racing - Performance car and trackday products
There is a really good review of these which notes performance difference of only doing the fronts and then having all round new.

Make sure you read to the end
Or if you can't be arsed here are the conclusions...

Update:
Thanks to Buck for sorting some rears out
12k miles on and pads are going well (twice what the Redstuff ceramics did before they needed replacing). Had them out on track for a short while the other day and they performed very well.
Seems as though the problem was mainly with the mismatched front/rear compounds. Caliper still has its limitations though when it comes to repeated high speed stops.
I would not hesitate to recommend these pads for fast street and light track work (havent tested in prolonged track events so can't comment).
Excellent pads
Thanks to both Buck for supplying the rears. Also big thanks to Mocom Racing - Performance car and trackday products for supplying the fronts+fluid and going well out of their way to help. :

Cheers for the feedback. Do the Yellows chew up the discs as bad as the Reds? I was thinking of using the Yellows on a new set of AP 6 pots, but I don't want to trash and score the discs like the Reds.
About to read the Bob's report

53WRX, good link thanks. The conclusions I can draw:
1) Yellowstuff have better wear than Redstuff with less damage to discs and are are a good pad.
2) Buck pays Bob'5 to keep quiet and the pads are still cr@p (only joking Buck / Bob'5, appreciate the time you spent on this sort of testing ).
I run Redstuff front and rear, so I'd do the same with Yellowstuff.
Frayz, I read your thread on Alcons and your 9 week transition to AP's last night. Enough to put anyone off dealing with Alcon! It was your comments that made me think I'd be disapointed if I went with DS2500's on the AP's.
I'll be interested to see how you rate the RS29's.
Cheers

Yeah mate, dont get me started on the Alcons, what a nightmare. Such a shame too as they were a beautiful bit of kit. Better than the APs in terms of finish i feel too.
Shame i never got to use them.
I know lots of people rate the DS2500s but i cant comment on how hard they drive their cars. The 2500s fade, deposit when pushed beyond their limits and dust like crazy. Personally they are not a patch on the Yellow Rs IMO. The yellow Rs had good bite from cold, low dust and fantastic fade resistance. They didnt seem to eat discs too which was nice.
My car is a Simpsons at the mo having a new exhaust made, once its back i'll get the RS29s in a get you updated.

Sorry Ander's. I have to say i havent yet had time to get the RS29s in. My car is not my daily drive, its just a toy. I have lots going on with the car right now so have not got round to swapping the pads out yet.
If you PM a guy in the ESC called Essexboy30, his name is Mike and ran in the 2007 TA series. He runs the RS29 and will be able to give you a good idea as to what theyre really like.
Sorry i cant help you yet

I got through a set of brand new Red Stuff's in half a day at Brands Hatch and Yellow Stuff's when at Bedford Autodrome recently.
Not too impressed and looking for an alternative pad now....
