Unhappy

I need to replace all 4 tyres from new due to wear.
I have an MY00 Turbo and don't intend on changing wheels just yet.
The standard Bridgestone seemed okay but are now dodgy due to wear and the back is starting to pull out.
What would be the best tyre to consider and costs I am in the Doncaster area at the minute.

Brendy,

The ones that most people on this board recommend are Goodyear Eagle F1 or Bridgestone SO2 (or the new replacement SO3).

I just got the Eagle F1s and am very pleased. Grip is excellent and the annoying tramlining experienced with the dealer supplied Bridgestone Potenzas is virtually eliminated.

If you shop around you can get the Eagle F1s for about £300 for 4. The SO2/SO3s are quite a bit more expensive (£50? each more)

Look at a few of the threads from the past week or so in this forum for addresses/contacts/prices.

Hope this helps

Sean

Cool

Another vote for Goodyear Eagle F1's. Definitely shop around though as I was quoted between £78.50 and £135 each. If you can get them for anywhere near £300 you are doing well!!
