clAssic? wot wheels fit

Default clAssic? wot wheels fit

hi guys not sure wot wheels i can fit to my classic and which model subaru's if any wont fit, sure i read somewhere that the newer shape scooby wheels woudlt fit>? if true why not, currently lookin for new wheels for my wagon classic and loads of newer type wheels for sale

The PCD is different between classics and new age imprezas. Classics have a PCD of 5x100mm whereas the newages cars have a PCD of 5x114mm

To put it in basic terms the holes for the newage wheels would not line up with the studs on your hubs.

subaru sti 17" wheels and tyres in gold off 2003 on eBay, Wheels with Tyres, Car Wheels, Tyres Trims, Cars, Parts Vehicles (item 250155082536 end time 22-Aug-07 19:00:00 BST)

ive been trying 2 find out what scoob rims fit early classics aswell !
been told the sort you have asked about on ebay do fit but will rub on rear and poss on full lock !
normal wrx not sti bugeye shape and blob eye up to 54 plate should be ok depending what size tyres are fitted ? hopefully guys that have them fitted will let you know ?

Same as above, the Bugeye WRX fit fine, I have a very nearly mint set here 1 slight mark on 2 wheels for sale, will be going up in the for sale section in the next day or so, PM me if you are interested

Newage wheels will fit.

Its the UK MY05> STi's that have the PCD of 5x114.3mm and therefore won't fit

Earlier cars have the standard 5x100, lots of classics running newage WRX and STi wheels on here.
