strange one but here goes, when slowing down at around 5mph(ish) the brake pedal drops, there is a grindy noise and then like an air noise, with feedback through the brake pedal, this only happens as i come to stop anyone?

I get the same type of thing on mine. The feeling is exactly that of the ABS kicking in, the brake pedal doesn't drop on mine though.

Only happens when braking from very low speeds, only thing i thought of was dirt build up on the ABS sensors or something, but you say you've had them checked..

Maybe it's something to do with the signal at low speeds that makes the sensor think the wheel has stopped?

yeah mine only happens at low speed, went out in car with diagnostics tool plugged in and it showed no problems, it all happened after changing rear pads, also took one of back discs off to check condition, but it seemed ok so put it back on,ever since then it's been doing this!!!

pull the fuse on the abs to see if it cures it. If it does its prob the ABS sensor - have you changed the brake discs recently? Its easy to damage the sensor as the discs come off
