Can i fit 17"x7.5" wheels over ap 6 pots 355mm

Default Can i fit 17"x7.5" wheels over ap 6 pots 355mm

Hi ,can anyone tell me if there are any 17x7.5 wheels out there that will fit over ap 6 pot 355mm brake kit,i need to run toyo 888 on and cant get them in the correct size on my 18"s, as they will rub ,dont really want to put smaller brakes on .

Almost positive you need 18" for 355mm discs

I think Granby's right, 335 is the largest I've seen under 17's

No, 355 kit is for 18" wheels and is just too big in diameter for a 17" wheel. The 5570 (330mm) caliper is supposed to be a better caliper than the cheaper 7040 (355/362mm) one. If you're running 550bhp then good ventilation and/or ducting air to your brakes needs to be a priority.

It is possible to get 355mms under a 17" wheel, but only wide race only wheels where the brakes are mounted inboard quite a bit.

For a road car you'll need 18"s mate

Thanks for the info,if i kept the 6 pot calipers but went for 330mm discs would that make any difference?
I really need to get some 17" toyo 888 on

You'll need different brackets to move the caliper nearer the hub. Hopefully the bracket from the 330 kit will fit your caliper

I dont think you can run the 7040 caliper on 330mm discs?

Have you asked the boys at RCM??
