Tyres on P-ff7's
Hi,
Right, finally going to take the plunge and get me some 18 ' Prodrive P-ff7's.What would be the best tyre to fit size wise, was looking at getting 225/40/18 but was just wondering what people's views were and whether most people would recommend 235/40/18.I'm looking at getting the Yoko Parada's for them.
I have a MY07 Sti which is currently running on the standard Bridgestone RE070's 225/47/17.
With the 225's am i looking at much of a difference in speedo reading - i hope not 'cos the bloody thing reads at least 10% over already !
Any advice / opinions appreciated.
Thanks

I have the parada 2s 225/40 18s on MY03 STi and they are spot on, I had them on my classic aswell and cant fault them. Excellent dry and wet, fun when greasy/damp but very predictable.

Going to 235 width is obviously going to be better as you will have more rubber in contact with the road, plus it will give you a slightly squarer shoulder. I run 235/40/18 Pirelli P Zero Corsa Assimetrico on mine.
