When I got my car I questioned paying more for my winter tyres (Dunlop Winter Sport M2's in 16") than the summer Falkens.
After the first time driving them in the snow they've paid for themselves - amazing levels of grip. I had absolutely no problems......except for the obvious 'actually coming to a halt' thing
Direction changes always predictable.
