ive not long changed the front pads on my MY98 (2 pots) to mintex 1144 C-tech
ive noticed that they are very noisy and squeel a lot, even when theyre warm, is this normal for these pads??
also im changing the 2 pots for sti4 4 pots in the neww year, what pads and disks can anyone recommend and where can i get them please, i d like to keep the price to around or under £200 if possible
cheers

There are a few old posts on Mintex squeals
The remedy appeared to be repeatd fairly agressive braking from high speed (after warming them up with some slow stops)to bed them in
Search was off so couldn't find exact thread. Have a hunt
I have 1155 with 4 pots and never really had any squeals after following the "bedding in process"
I would recomend them cheap and seem to last and more importantly stop well in all conditions
