I run on them at mo, but people slag them in the wet, must confess though i do take it fairly easy in wet. Not sure if they last to well though, could do with bit more milage out of them.

The Quick-Fit round the corner from me is doing 25% off Bridgestones if you buy 4, may be a national offer so check out your nearest! Should do the deal on any Bridgestone, last time I bought a set of tyres I got Pirelli P-Zeroes from there when they had same kind of offer for Pirellis.

blimey, that's cheap! been on and off a rim but not used nothing really wrong with that, just sounds odd?
rasher - yep, they are simply staggering in the dry warm dry day and these things stick like you would not believe! words can't say how good these are.
mileage isn't terrible considering the grip, i got 11k out of mine before i took them off for the winter and i'd think there's at least 1-2k left on them and i really tried hard to kill them to put on some new ones, couldn't do it.
downside is VERY hard ride, tramline quite alot, especially when getting low and a bit noisy. positives far outweigh the negatives though
great summer/track day tyre

You might want to check the size...
...they are not the same on all cars.

thet come in 2 widths for the 17" rim, 225 for UK, 235 for JDM.
as you say, like for like of your existing tyres is the way to go (in my opinion wether you drive uk or import) i think the 235 are harder to find, also dearer IIRC

I have 225's on my spare wheels. Mainly used for track days and there spot on (when its dry and warm). Would not like to use them all the time as they do tramline a lot.
I found it was cheaper to by a set of wheels with slightly worn RE070s, than get new tyres.

not knowing what car you've got mate, i'd stick with what size is on there now.
i really don't know why the JDM use 235 TBH, it's the same width rim (i think) so why the difference?
can't see it making a noticeable difference either, if you can find 235 for cheaper go with that.
that would be my own only reason to go for them
