lets suppose i udated my WRX MY02 brakes with the STi brembos

is it possible? or is there a version of 15" wheels i can fit that would clear the brake set-up?

Are you sure you mean 15" FIFTEEN INCHES?

WRX '02 cars came with 17" wheels......

yeh i know it sounds like a joke

heres the reason..............

last year i marshalled on Wales WRC (great time BTW) but i had to drive on stage (there and back) this year i want to mod the car for the event. eg. suspension set-up with gravel springs, full under car protection, MUD flaps and gravel tyres (the largest size i can find is 15"). then i dont have to worry about the stones/rocks (did i mension the stones?) that pepper the car (esp on the return jouney!! the 'cuts' the WRC guys leave behind are scarry) plus i can have a bit of fun

The STi Brembos almost fill the inside diameter of a 17" wheel so you have no hope. I think even AP 4 pots need at least a 16" wheel.

If you phone Alyn at AS Performance - Rally Motorsport Specialists he'll give you good advice.
I'm sure he used to run 15's with uprated calipers on his rally cars.
