What's the most cost effective way to improve the brakes on a my99 classic?

if it's got 4-pot calipers, (SUBARU on them), then probably this:

Subaru Impreza 335mm Kit

Needs 17" whhels IIRC, though.......

Get some used gold brembos of a newage STI. Kit to fit rear gold 2 pots are now available. Have uprated mine to Brembos all around, some wheels do not fit tho'.
